The Robotics Institute Germany Internships (RIGI) program invites students from all over the world to join a world-class research environment at the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems in Stuttgart, a leading institution for robotics and AI. We offer paid, up to 90-day internships to bachelor’s and master’s students who face personal, societal, or financial barriers to accessing cutting-edge research facilities.
Interns are matched with leading research groups in areas such as biomechanics, control systems and optimization, haptics and human-computer interaction, machine learning, material science, micro- and nano-robotics, robotics and human-robot interaction, soft robotics and materials, and other related fields. The program also includes career development seminars, scientific workshops, lab tours, and networking opportunities.
RIGI is part of the broader Robotics Institute Germany (RIG), a national initiative to foster excellence and diversity in robotics research.
Join us in shaping the future of robotics and making science more inclusive!
